It's been over 100 degrees every day this week. In fact, yesterday the high was 104 degrees, which tied the all-time high for my city. It's kind of cool to have such hot weather; it gives you an idea of what it's like to live in the desert. But the plants aren't doing very well, and when you're outside for more than a few minutes you get soaked with sweat. I'm grateful that we have air conditioning and water to stay hydrated.

One thing's for sure: this was a good week to be inside doing school!
