Out for breakfast

This morning Mom took me out to the Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was off of South Boulevard, and it took us a long time to find a parking place. But it was worth it.  We got coffee and water and discussed some of the questions in Idols of the Heart (which we're doing for a book study) while we were waiting for our food to come. Mom got "fresh strawberry pancakes," with strawberries, whipped cream, and homemade strawberry syrup. I had "Swedish pancakes," which are large, thin pancakes that you fill with lingonberries and roll up. Both meals were good, and I had a good time talking with Mom. The restaurant also seems to be a popular place for meetings ... we saw three people from WBT: Al Conklin, John Carter, and Lenise somebody were sitting a few tables away from us.
After breakfast we went to Aldi for groceries.
