Emily got a lot of experience driving in the car today. She drove (with me in the car too) for a total of about an hour and a half.
A little before 9:00 this morning we drove over to Becca's house to tell her happy birthday. She's fifteen today! We gave her a present and some cards ... she was so happy to see us. Her mom knew we were coming, but Becca didn't. We stayed for about two minutes, but still ... it was fun to surprise her.
Then we drove to the library to drop off books and get some books for Mom for school. And my ACT study book.
I spent most of the day scrapbooking. Dad got the trim up in my new bedroom, and Mom did some work around the house. I think Emily read her book for ASL class most of the day. The boys ... I don't know exactly. I guess they were just hanging around the house.

And Christianne was at Allie's party.
That's where we got the majority of our time in the car: driving out to the Stumbos' to pick up Christianne. It takes about thirty-five minutes to get there from our house. We left about 3:20 and got back at 4:35. We had a pretty much uneventful trip, except that on the way back on I-85 the traffic stopped because some bales of hay fell off of someone's trailer. I felt so sorry for them. Hay is not cheap.
It's fun driving in the car with my sister. Every time we go somewhere, it feels like an adventure!
