Mom painted my room on Saturday! Here she is painting the last part of the wall.



It's hard to tell from the picture what color the paint is. It's called "canvas shoes loafers" ... it's a neutral color that sometimes looks off-white and sometimes looks yellow or even green. I like that it makes the room look brighter. The room doesn't get much sun, so I couldn't paint it blue or green or it would seem cold. This color is nice.

Dad put up the new light fixture for my ceiling fan this evening. Instead of just one central light, there are four lights that you can point in any direction. Very cool.

And my bed came today. Only one piece is broken this time, and because of what the piece is used for it doesn't even matter. So I'm pretty sure we can keep the bed this time.

Mom is going to paint the trim soon, and then there's not much left to do. I still need a comforter to go inside my duvet cover, and then some shelves and hopefully a small desk.
