German article

Aunt Nancy sent Mom this article. The man they are talking about is the dad of one of the men who is now going to the Sovereign Grace pastor's college.

The headline:
1936 - Only one left his arm down.

The caption says:
On July 13, 1936 at Blohm & Voss [a shipyard where they built ships] in Hamburg: during the ceremony of the launch of the ship [this ship was used to train recruits] Horst Wessel, everyone stretches the right arm to salute Hitler. Only one refuses (in the circle).

Second headline:
Authors search for the history-maker: who was the man?

The article goes on to say that the man was brave to do that. Why did he take such a risk? Did his action have consequences? Do we know, sixty years later, anything about the brave man and about his action?

And there the article ends! The part about what they discovered is cut off. Wish I had the whole thing! At least we know the man is the dad of one of the guys at PC...

Correction: he's the grandfather of one of the men going to pastor's college, not the dad.
