That's right - next week, we start back to school. It's going to be the last time I begin a school year. Now that's hard to believe!
    I've been trying to make the most of my last week of vacation. But ... there doesn't seem to be a lot to do. I've been reading a lot (for Mom and my book study and the 7th Harry Potter book) and baking cakes (our last class was yesterday evening) and straightening things up around the house. I hope to get more done later this week, like finishing sewing a head scarf out of the leftover fabric from my dress and taking a couple of photos.
    I say this every year: I'm going to be really glad to get back to school and have some sort of schedule again!
