In ACA today I got a piece of candy. Candy? College teachers give out candy?
Today, yes. That's because our lesson was a game. Sort of. Really it was just a review for our final exam next week, but it was fun. We divided into teams and had to answer questions about what we've been learning in class. When a team advanced to the next round, each person on the team got a piece of candy. My team didn't get any questions right except for in the last round, which we won. So that's how I got my candy.
I found out why my teacher didn't show up last week. She had to go to the airport, and when she came out of the airport she couldn't remember where she parked her car. Oops.
A couple of people in my family (including me) have mild colds. Mine is hardly bothering me, especially when I take medicine. In the past, Emily and I haven't had to deal with being sick and going to classes. You have to go to class (unless, of course, you feel absolutely awful). Some congestion isn't an excuse to stay home. So we went ... and we were fine. Hopefully by Thursday we'll be back to normal.
