Wow! I'm happy and sad and excited about it all at the same time. I haven't heard what Mr. Connolly had to say about it; I just heard from Mom and Dad. I want to listen to the recording .... As of right now, we're not planning to move (and I hope we don't!). I am excited for the families that are moving, even though I'm going to miss them a lot. But it's not about us - it's about the mission.

On a different topic ... I have school to do this weekend. I was assigned a whole bunch of work at once. My final exam for ACA is on Tuesday, and I have a German test on Wednesday. We're behind in ACA, so there's a lot of homework to do before Tuesday. And for British literature (at home), I have to write a paper. I was supposed to write it on Thursday and start revising it yesterday, but I haven't even finished my rough draft. I'm just thankful that it's not like this all the time.

Mom's planning to get started on patching up the walls of my future bedroom today... We didn't have any Kilz, so this morning she bought some at Walmart. Dad thought that we had enough spackling, but it turns out that the little that we have is dried out. So Mom has to run to the hardware store and get some. (Sounds like when I was trying to make the icing for Mom's cake ....)
